8 Chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless | salt and pepper |
2-3 tablespoons shortening or oil | 1 Cup heavy cream (whipping cream) |
1/2 Cup parsley,chopped (I use Italian parsley) | 3 larges garlic cloves, crushed |
2/3 Cups walnuts, chopped | 1 Cup Gouda or Swiss cheese, grated |
1. | Preheat oven to 380 degrees and spray baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. |
2. | Tenderize chicken slightly with flat mallet and seoson with salt and pepper. |
3. | Heat oil in large skillet and brown chicken lightly on both sides. |
4. | Transfer chicken breasts into baking dish. |
5. | Mix the rest of ingredients in a bowl and pour evenly over chicken. |
6. | Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. |
7. | Serve with a mixed salad and Baguette. |
