Preparation Time: | 5 minutes |
Actual Cooking Time: | 20 minutes |
15 Medium Size Green Chiles | 1 Can Chicken Broth |
2 Cans Cream of Chicken | 2 Teaspoons Cumin |
1. | Chop up the green chiles (the 15 green chiles turn out to be approximately 2-3 cups of chopped green chile). |
2. | In a large saucepan, mix chicken broth, cream of chicken, and green chiles. |
3. | Bring the mixture to a boil. |
4. | Reduce the heat slightly and allow it to bubble for approximately 20 minutes. |
Although it's not as good, you can substitute the green chiles with red ones and make a thick red sauce. You can also replace the chicken broth with beef broth and cream of chicken with cream of mushroom if you want a beef sauce. Again, this isn't nearly as good as the green chicken!
