| 6 Cups boiling water | 1 1/2 Cups quick (not instant) grits |
| 1/2 stick margarine | 1 pound cheese |
| 3 beaten eggs | 2 teaspoons salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon tabasco | 1 can chopped green chile |
| 1. | Add grits to boiling water and cook until thick. |
| 2. | Stir in rest, except for diced green chile. |
| 3. | Pour into 9x13 pan. |
| 4. | Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 250 F or 1 hour at 300 F. |
| 5. | Served with chopped green chile. |
| 6. | Microwaves very well the next day too! |
