1 Cup Butter | 1 1/4 Cups Flour |
2 Cups Sugar | 1 teaspoon Baking Powder |
3/4 Cups Cocoa | 1 Cup (1/2 Bag) Chocolate Chips (Unsweetened) |
4 Eggs | 1 Cup Chopped Nuts |
1 teaspoon Vanilla |
1. | Preheat oven to 350 degrees f |
2. | Melt the sticks of butter in a bowl |
3. | Mix in Sugar, Cocoa, Eggs, and Vanilla |
4. | Mix in Flour (a good mix is 1/2 cup whole wheat and 3/4 cups all-purpose bleached flour) and Baking Powder |
5. | Add the Chocolate Chips and Chopped Nuts (if desired) |
6. | Empty into a 9x13 greased pan |
7. | Bake for 32 minutes @ 4,000ft. |
8. | Remove from oven and let cool about 10 minutes, then cut |
9. | Let them cool and then serve |
