Backpacking in the Olympic Mountains of Washington State

A Short Trek in the Olympic Mountains of Washington State

During the summer of 1995, I had the chance to visit my good friend, Steve, and go backpacking in the Olympic mountain range on the peninsula of Washington State. All images here are clickable to download the double size image (if you're willing to wait awhile).

Climbing from ~4000ft to ~6500ft on the first day.

Near the peak of our climb, looking down from a pass.

From camp, looking up at the pass and an outcrop.

Looking down from camp on cloud-covered Puget Sound, towards Seattle.

The pond at "Camp Windy."
